Birthright — Ballads of Cerilia is a Crusader Kings III setting-conversion project using the Cerilian peoples, religions and divine bloodlines as the foundation for custom gameplay.

The prepared beta is v0.0.2 Beta, packaged 9 October 2026. Its descriptor declares CK3 1.19.0.6; newer-patch compatibility is unverified. It includes bloodlines, Regency, bloodpowers, four class lifestyles, human/Orog/Sidhelien cultures and faiths, cultural troops, Elven Blood pedigree, human first-age development, four-age elven/Orog progression, dedicated Source holdings, elven adventurer camps and racial court assets. The separate development descriptor remains 0.0.1; development pages may describe changes beyond the packaged snapshot.

There is no custom map folder or landed-title definition set. The history includes a small Roesone test character, a vanilla-county ownership test and human culture initialization. This is a prototype on the underlying game geography, not a finished Cerilia map.

Published setting descriptions, community BRCS material and CK3 gameplay adaptations are distinct. Numerical effects and balance decisions are documented as implemented adaptations. Roadmap items are kept separate from playable definitions.
