Current development — 0.1.0
Updated: 18 October 2026. The current released version is 0.0.3 — Realms & Strongholds, released on 18 October 2026. Development now targets 0.1.0, which has not yet been released.
This page describes changes being prepared after 0.0.3. For the released package, installation and included features, use the 0.0.3 release notes.
Primogeniture from the start
Planned for version 0.1.0. Primogeniture no longer requires late-medieval research. When a campaign starts or loads, eligible landed rulers using Confederate Partition, Partition or High Partition switch to primogeniture.
The conversion runs once per eligible ruler, preserving later player succession choices. Tribal governments, special succession systems and contracts enforcing partition retain their existing rules. Normal requirements for later manual law changes still apply.
Fully restart CK3 after installing these development changes. An existing save is sufficient; a new game is not required for this succession update.
Released baseline
Version 0.0.3 includes the racial building rebalance, Source holdings and camps, racial packages, adventures, item enchanting and Court Wizard services, alongside the existing bloodline and class systems. Its declared CK3 version is 1.20.1.1. See the building catalogue and system guides for details.
Still planned
A complete Cerilia map and populated 551 Cerilia bookmark, later Human research/building tiers, and Source/Ley Line realm-spell integration remain unfinished. See the roadmap for broader plans; these are not promises for 0.1.0.
